Whether I’m collaborating on a production, helping a student feel seen, or creating something that speaks to an audience, I believe genuine connection brings meaning to our work and our lives. It’s what allows us to communicate without words, to understand each other deeply, and to build communities that are creative, kind, and resilient. Human connection isn’t just important. It’s essential.

PATIENCE

Patience is the quiet strength behind growth, creativity, and connection.

In the performing art, and in life, progress rarely happens overnight. I value patience because it allows space for learning, for listening, and for letting things unfold in their own time. Whether I’m in rehearsal, working with others, or building something new, I believe that giving yourself and those around you grace leads to deeper understanding, better results, and a more compassionate process.

Selflessness is about showing up for others with intention and heart.

Selflessness means listening actively, offering support, and always keeping the bigger picture in mind. It's putting the needs of the team, the audience, or the community above personal gain. It’s about uplifting those around you, helping a team succeed, and creating an environment where everyone can shine. When we act selflessly, we make space for deeper connection, stronger collaboration, and meaningful impact.
